Kirkland Signature Toscana 2016
Costco has produced their Kirkland Signature Toscana wine for several years. The last time I reviewed it was for the 2014 vintage (see here for my post). The bottle for the 2016 vintage does not tell the blend, but it is likely similar to the 2014 vintage which was predominately Sangiovese with lesser amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
This is still a medium bodied wine with flavors of dark cherry and raspberry, but the 2016 is a little more complex with some flavors of darker berries and a touch of chocolate. The tannns are still smooth and the wine has a nice finish.
Kirkland Signature Toscana 2016 just arrived at the Greenville Costco and it remains a good value for $13.99.
